Applications for the inaugural North American Taiwanese Medical Association (NATMA) Medical Missions Scholarship is now open.
Thanks to the generosity of Dr. Charles Hsu and NATMA Medical Mission Foundation, two ($1,000) NATMA Medical Mission Scholarships are being offered to college students, medical/dental/allied health students, residents, and fellow-in-training of Taiwanese/Taiwanese-American descent.
Eligibility
- The applicants must be of Taiwanese/Taiwanese-American descent currently accepted to and/or enrolled in an accredited US healthcare-related graduate program (e.g., medical, dental, nursing, pharmacy, etc.) or be a postgraduate medical professional in training, such as a resident, fellow, or postdoctoral researcher within the United States. They must be in good standing.
- The applicants must be NATMA members. If you are not yet a member, please apply through www.natma.org
- The applicant must confirm availability to participate in the NATMA medical mission to Belize from October 25, 2025 to November 2, 2025.
- One (1) Letter of Reference. Please inform your recommenders to submit the letter to medicalmission@natma.org.
Deliverable
- Recipients must submit a summary report of the medical mission.
